Satellite Expo 10/31 Newsletter

Satellite Expo Has International Flavor
Satellite Expo 2006 is quickly gaining momentum as well as worldwide notoriety. In only it's second year, what was originally started as a grassroots effort trying to promote the efforts of independent satellite retailers & technicians is turning more and more into an international affair.
JEM Communications, Inc. (promoters of SatExpo Shows) has been notified of organized groups of dealers planning to attend the April show in Atlanta. It seems the success of Satellite Expo 2005 has sparked a worldwide interest in attending. Groups of as many as 25 dealers/technicians are planning on attending from such exotic locations as New Caledonia, Fiji Islands, Australia and the Solomon Islands. SatExpo '06 has also been contacted by dealers from Japan, Taiwan and Great Britain.
The support of the US retailers & technicians has enabled JEM Communications, Inc. to not only produce a quality satellite trade show, but to produce a show worthy of international attention, thank-you!

Hotels Report Brisk Business
From all indications, Satellite Expo 2006 is going to be a huge event! All official Satellite Expo hotels report a brisk business since all the hotels were put on our website. At the pace all 5 official SatExpo hotels are currently booking, you would be well advised to book your rooms early. These 5 properties were chosen because of their quality, hospitality, the fact they are all within 5 minutes of Satellite Expo 2006 at the Georgia International Convention Center and all are offering free shuttle service to and from the trade show.
The five hotels designated as Official show hotels are: The Westin Atlanta Airport, Hilton Atlanta Airport, Sheraton Gateway, Airport Embassy Suites and Hilton Garden Inn Airport. Rates at these hotels range from $99 to $127 respectively. Please don't let the rates mislead you! Even at these low negotiated rates, these are some of the finest full service hotel properties in the Atlanta Airport/Georgia International Convention Center area. Please take the time to visit the lodging section of our website today and book your rooms early. After all, everyone knows the amount of networking that goes on AFTER the show ends each day. http://www.satelliteexpo2006.com/lodging.htm

Diversity Still The Theme

Probably the largest thing that remains the same between Satellite Expo 2005 and Satellite Expo 2006 is the theme. Diversity was the them for the '05 show and will again be the theme at the '06 show. The need for satellite dealers and technicians to diversify keeps getting stronger with each year.
A number of programs, seminars and training classes at Satellite Expo 2006 are weighed heavily with the diversity factor. Who would have thought 10 years ago a seminar on solar power would have been a very popular event at a satellite trade show? To stay competitive, today's retailers and technicians must add additional products and services to their customer offerings. Those that see the wisdom in diversification will be some of the stronger companies in the next decade. Broadband, Home Theater, Computer Networking, these are but a few of the classes being offered at Satellite Expo 2006 that go hand in hand with what the retailer is already offering. Please take a look at our class/seminar list and sign up today, each class/seminar is limited to the first 100 people to sign up. Registration is brisk and some classes are filling VERY quickly. http://www.satelliteexpo2006.com/training.htm
