Universal HD moving to 247 and Velocity moving to 246, i know Velocity is now in the in one of the America's Top package but is Universal HD gonna be switching to that package too. and will the "Blockbuster At Home" channels package become a all movie channels package to fit in with the "Blockbuster" branding.

Either that or,less likely,they are moving most of the bb@home channels in that range.

Out of curiosity, is Velocity available to everyone? My brother has Welcome Pack as he does much of his TV through streaming but wanted HD locals and a few networks here and there like TBS and AMC. He has always had Velocity... I thought it was moved up to DA as the lowest package?

It's and HD only channel, so can't be seen in the Welcome package normally.

DISH has an HD Test Channel that's available to all MPEG4 receivers,it's channel 5710.It's nice that DISH has a Test Channel-Channel 5710 that all MPEG4 HD receivers can see to test their HD.

Unfortunately, those of us on Eastern Arc can't get that channel.

The EA is primarily HD. If you're on it, you have enough HD content to test your receiver. Although for the use that the previous post's subliminal message relays, well you're out of luck. I guess you'll have to pay for it.
