630PVR Quirkiness

Greetings SatGuys Friends:

Has anyone experienced a strange phenomenon where, when starting out to watch a PVR recording, there is no audio initially? I sometimes have to hit the skip back button for the audio to come on. Is this an undocumented feature ( )? My unit is brand new and I am wondering if it is faulty or if they all have this problem.

I just installed my 630 PVR as well a couple of days ago, however, I have NOT run into that issue....,YET?

I have had my 630 for a year and have had no such issue.

I don't recall ever having that happen to me.

when you say no audio initially, do you mean for a few seconds, or none at all until you skip back?

how is your 630 connected to the TV?
