I wonder why they sped up the rollout of it as last week they were saying it probably wouldn't be on EA until October.

The south east corner of Vermont is technically in the Boston DMA. The Burlington VT market is Significantly Viewed in that area. For example, D* has Windham VT with both the Boston and Burlington locals. It looks like E* must have gotten permission to resume SV stations.

Sigh.... No KQED and KTEH again. How DISH Network continues to ignore the
6th largest TV market in the country is beyond me?

Was also looking for the new Retro TV channel to be uplinked. Channel 8 from Ft. Bragg. Maybe the channel hasn't gone live yet. According to all the information that is floating around the web (namely the RTV Facebook Page), the channel is going live within days, and according to the new owners, DISH and Direct TV have already been signed to broadcast the station to the Bay Area. So we wait.....

RTV has been going live in the Bay Area for over two years, first on a sub-channel of KRON, then on some other channel in the East Bay and now in Fort Bragg. RTV has no idea how it is going to string us out further...

I am not so certain that Dish is ignoring KQED-KTEH. It's all a negotiation....

I really think you 'PBS' guys and gals will be disappointed by the picture quality. Even OTA, the main channels are sub-par. Once they get a round of Dish MPEG4 added to them, they will look even worse.

No broadcast channel should be allowed to have that many sub channels. It defeats the purpose of HD.
