A sure sign of spring

This phenomenon only happens twice a year. Once in the spring and again in the fall. The satellites and the sun line up and the noise of the sun in the dish overwhelm the satellite signal for a few minutes. I always like to see this because I know that spring is just around the corner.

Yup, it's been going on for a few days now. Phat Air made a post the other day about it but I'd already seen it a couple of days before that.

Mid 50s here today and some 60s later in the week. About time!

I touched my dish today! First time this year. It felt good.
All the cable connectors are tight. Guess the the Ku dish maintenance is done!

mid 60's here, and I made some progress on dish prep here, hope to have the remainder finished by first of next week
