I am travelling out of the country this summer and was trying to figure out how I want to store my pictures until I upload them onto my computer. I found this device
http://www.dealtime.com/xPC-Alera_Technologies_Alera_Technologies_Copy_Cruiser_Plus_USB_330100 Aleratec USB Copy Cruiser Plus for US$58 at buy.com ( I used a 10% discount coupon). It allows you to transfer files between USB storage devices. I have a 2.5" 40gb Seagate disk drive in a USB case. The drive was left over from an upgrade and the USB case was US$8. https://www.censuspc.com/product.php?productid=2656&cat=16&page=1 USB2.0 Smart Drive Case. The only thing I am missing is a power supply for the drive. The Copy Cruiser doesn't supply enough power for the disk drive. I am planning on using a USB charger for the power supply. I think this one will work. http://www.worldofcables.com/oscatalog/CreateHTMLPagesDesc/22328.htm AC to USB Power Adapter
The Copy Cruiser got mixed reviews, so I'm hoping all of this will work when I set it up. I'm still waiting for the items to arrive.
