I was unaware but I guess this has been in the works for a few years. Not sure I really need more Alien in my life.

Sorta related, there is also another Mad Max flic coming out. Not sure I need that either.

Edit: This is supposed to be set during the time Ripley was in hypersleep on the Nostromo lifeboat.

This was planned to be on Hulu, like the last Predator movie was, but the Disney executives thought highly of it after screening the movie, so they decided to put it out to theaters instead.

Budget was only $97 Million, which is great for a space type movie, the title should help keep marketing expenses down, so if it is really good, should make a profit.

Theaters really need a big hit.
