angry chat agent

I was checking on the dish chat support to make sure that my service had been terminated friday as i just got D* installed. Earlier agents said it would be terminated at midnight saturday. The agent i was chatting with got angry and just said no and it is no. What gives.
 
Don't know. But did you save the transcript of the chat? It will give you some documentation of the contact, in case they continue billing you.

I'd recommend just calling customer service.
 
I had called customer service on tuesday and they said the service would terminate on friday and that i owed no final balance. For some reason they are giving me a 58 dollar credit:confused:
 
get a screwdriver and take it off, and stick it in the reciever packaging.

He bought the receiver so he will not be sending the receiver back to Dish.

Where is the dish mounted?

If it is on your roof I would tell them they can come get it if they like but I would not go up there to remove it. If it is pole mounted in your yard I would return it providing they send the return label first.
