I just got my Crescendo Transcoder last night, hooked it up today but so far I have not had 100% successful results. I am running an ATI 9200 Pro card to transcoder to component input on a Sony KV30HS420.
Any tips? So far I have been trying the HDTV standard resolutions in Powerstrip and getting the edges of my display cut off, is that what they call overscan? I bought the transcoder because I put in quite a bit of work with DVI settings and never got a 100% good image, but heard lots of people had great results with the Crescendo. Voom uses the tvs DVI/HDMI port now.
Anyway, I do appreciate any tips anybody could provide. I am going to keep playing with this until I get the results I am looking for.
