Had MRV installed today. Installer couldn't get DECA to work on HR20-100. I told him I read they needed a kludge. I found two ways to do it on the Internet. He chose to use the option that didn't use a Band Stop Filter (BSF). It works but....

Is it okay or do I need to redo it using the BSF option?

Both kludges attached:

You need to use the second attached pic for an HR20-100 and a BSF is required for this setup.

It is the only receiver that needs that unique setup, basically the one output doesn't put out enough power so it needs the second hookup.

Hr20's, as I understand it, can't power DECA through the Sat1 connection but will through Sat2 hence the two options posted above. It seems like using a BSF is the preferred option but the installer chose the option that doesn't use a BSF.
