I called Voom service for an OTA antenna upgrade and a realignment of the antenna to optimize NYC DT channels. They have agreed saying that the upgrade is to a bi-directional antenna. What are the views on bi-directional vs. my current standard one-directional Voom bat wing? Again, my focus is NYC DT stations and I don't care that much about Connecticut DT stations. Getting Conn. would be a bonus so long as the bi-directional doesn't dilute the ability to pull in NYC, which is about 42 miles from me.
