...do you guys think that more of the free c band channels will migrate to KU?? Or will they end up as IP streams?

Pure speculation of the reality of a tweet at this point, but I'll play along...

Based on the current excess bandwidth and under utilized satellite positions, I predict that existing C-band services will fill in the existing unused spectrum and slots, adopting higher efficiency compression if necessary.

Doubt we will see any major shift to terrestrial IP or KU band as the majority of uplink/downlink distribution hardware is already bought and paid for.
