Just got a home theater package. However the audio in is Coaxial (looks like a RCA to me), but the Audio out on the 10-250 is optical.

Is there a cable out there that goes Optical on one end and coaxial on the other? Or have I just bought the wrong receiver?

There aren't any optical inputs on the receiver at all? I guess I haven't looked at receivers in a few years, but I would think darn near any receiver these days would have at least one optical input. (outside of maybe real cheap ones)

Or have I just bought the wrong receiver? Sounds like you bought the wrong home theater system.[/quote]

I ran into the same problem when I bought my Sony DAV-FX10 home theater system. It has 1 optical input and 1 coaxial input, but I needed 2 optical inputs. So I searched the web for a converter and found this:

http://www.amazon.com/DAYTON-DAC-OC-OPTICAL-COAXIAL-CONVERTER/dp/B0002MQGQS

Plus, you will need a digital coaxial cable (not an analog red/white cable) like this:

I hope this helps.

Thanks ninja. I was getting ready to post the same info. Just got my converter today and it works great. That's the same one I bought.
