I have a few old 45cm DBS dishes lying around and would like to know if there is a California Microwave linear replacement in form and fit to the circular LNBs that they come with?

Thanks.

There are linear LNBs with that form factor.
Problem is, there's not so much on linear FTA you could get in North American on such a small dish.
As a joke, I put together a little dish and got reception of White Springs, a while back.

Here's a link for a good price (but a terrible web page - no specs) on such an LNB.
I found them on eBay under a different brand name, for somewhere in the $20- range, shipped.
If you'll look in our Review Department, there was one with the Megasat brand described about this time last year.
Give that a look for encouragement.

To use such an LNBF, the dish would also have to be skewable, and the first-generation DirecTV dishes were not. A perfect candidate for such an LNBF would be a DirecTV Phase II dish (haven't seen one of those other than the one in my shed for years :) )
