Cheyenne, WY Locals

My parents, in Cheyenne, are wanting to dump bresnan and have D* hooked up and bundle with their qwest internet and phone. D's website says they will have to install an antenna in order to receive Denver locals, I was wondering if anyone is in Cheyenne and can get Denver locals through D* Spot beam. Any thoughts?

I'll say probably...no way Denver locals will come in Cheyenne on an antenna

Even though Cheyenne is a haul from Denver, the Denver spotbeam is huge due to the DMA covering parts of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska

Looks like theyre on TP15 or 23...the doc I show has them split on both sats (99 & 103) and those 2 TP's. So check in the transponder signal menu what those show.

BUt I have a feeling you're within the spot beam

Denver is only 100 miles from Cheyenne. I lived that far away from some of my locals when I was in Northern NY. About 1/2 of my locals were in Burlington, VT (and 1 of my locals was almost 200 miles away in Lebanon, NH).

I live in Rawlins and get the Denver channels. I would like to see DTV add the Casper locals for Wyoming.
