I Have model 625 DVDR. I have gone thru this manual twice, it clearly shows you how to connect a VCR-very odd for a 2006 manual and it shows DVD codes but NO where does it say how to connect one.
I Have the DVDR on TV 1, thats where I want to add the dvd player. My TV is about 10 years old.
In LAYMEN'S terms, pretend I am 5(LOL) and spell it out for me.....exactly what I have to do. Thank you!

Is there any place that has a picture diagram on how to do this. It is just a plain APEX DVD player I want to add. I am afraid I will screw up the DVDR from dish.....you know it has that antenna on it..so I have service in my bedroom. I have hooked dvd players up to tvs, but NOT to anything from dish. Should I just call them and ask them? thanks

Just like a VCR, except S video instead of composite.

How many inputs does your TV have?

Ok I just looked......It has a F & S--there is also one called O or G LINK--it was hard to see back there, holding the flashlight--I know one said LINK--but for sure F & S
thanks~

Yes you will need the box then I believe...
That blows! I can see it wth my tv in the bedroom because its 25 years old--but its huge & works great, but the tv in the livingroom with the DVDR is less than 10 years old.......That stupid box is like 30$. Thanks anyway

Double check the back of your set for Yellow, Red & White RCA Jacks, most sets made in the last few years at least have those... for reference sake, [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_connector"]RCA connector - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:RCA_Connector_(photo).jpg" class="image"><img alt="" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/90/RCA_Connector_%28photo%29.jpg/220px-RCA_Connector_%28photo%29.jpg"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/9/90/RCA_Connector_%28photo%29.jpg/220px-RCA_Connector_%28photo%29.jpg[/ame] & SVideo Jack
