Last night, while watching ESPN HD football backhauls and later the Leno HD backhauls, I did not receive audio on the Coolsat HD 8000.

Does anyone know why? (Maybe the audio is broadcast separately and joined later when the signal is sent out of the network).

Also, how do you turn off the "No Audio" banner? It pops up in the middle of the picture and will not go off. I can live without audio watching a seconday football game (although I want audio for the primary game I am watching). But, the banner ruins the picture.

Thanks, as always.

I don't have a CS 8000, so I don't no how or if you can eliminate the "No Audio" banner, unless you find the audio? I can't speak on the Leno feed, but the ESPN LSU HD feed was in "Dolby E" audio, and you need some very expensive equipment to receive Dolby E audio.

That answers question 1.

Thanks. they used it on the Louisiana Monroe game, too. Is Dolby E a commercial standard?

sadly there is no way to turn that off

been there had that happen...it was on a baseball backhaul

A bug that needs to be worked out!

Still, smokin' picture and sound on the Syracuse/Washington backhaul tonight!
