CW Network?

Well, there are four HD LIL locals on a single transponder on 61.5 for the Wash DC locals. If we get our Regional Sports Network this fall, then I do not see how they could even consider a 6th HD signal on there for CW or MyNet.

Not to mention the PBS affiliate.

I really don't see how Dish will expand the locals in the future. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Regional Sports are not locals, they are 'regional'. One RSN can span several DMAs, so they might not go in the 6XXX range. That leaves the DC area with 2 available slots for HD locals..6363 & 6364...CW could be one of those. I'd like to think that PBS would be the other.

Number of channels per transponder at 61.5 is meaningless. 61.5 is all CONUS until such time that they reconfigure the Rainbow satellite for spot beams (which I bet they dont do).

Any news on whether Dish is putting up the CW in HD when it rolls out in September?
In Dallas, the old WB station is becoming CW. THis station is already up on Dish in HD. Also, the old UPN station is becoming MyNetwork TV, it too is already up on Dish.
I am guessing it is just going to depend on which stations dish was carrying in your local area. If you already had a WB and UPN, then odds are one will become the CW network.

I don't see the old WB up on Dish's HD lineup in Dallas. Only the big four (NBC, ABC, CBS, & FOX).
