'Dancing With the Stars' Wants Betty White

Even at 88, Betty White has the ambition of a 20-something! She brought down the house on 'Saturday Night Live' after her rabid fans on Facebook got her on the show, and now she's being recruited by yet another massively popular show: 'Dancing With the Stars.'

I've never watched DWTS, but isn't it a fairly physical competition? Seems like it may be a little much for a person who is pushing 90.

She's funny and everything, but I don't think she would last long on the show.

Didn't this all start because of the Superbowl Commercial? I don't think Betty White had many fans before that. I liked her but I wonder if the same people who signed up to her facebook page really knew anything about her beyond the commercial.

I don't watch the show either, but asking a woman near the end of her expiration date to "shake her groove thing" is asking way too much.
