I am in the market for a new DVD player. Right now it is between the Pioneer Elite DV59-AVi and the Denon DVD-2910. I haven't been able to find any really good reviews on either of these players. I have a Pioneer Elite Receiver so I am kinda leaning toward the Pioneer. Any advise would be appreciated either link to a good review or personal experience. Thanks all

i like denon. but if i had a pioneer receiver, i would go with the pioneer dvd as well. elite products are very good, i don't think you would notice a differnce in picture between the two.

Thanks for the replies. I got the Denon today because they didn't have the Pioneer Elite DVD that I wanted. I have also just discovered a new Pioneer Elite DV-79AVI. It is supposed to be shipped in November! So I may return the Denon to get the new Elite in November.

NTL's PVR to be MPEG-4, HD compatible
