Directv and Samsung

I have a new Samsung 3D TV but don`t have any 3D glasses yet.
I allso have Directv with the 3D channels.
Do I have to have the Samsung glasses or will any others work?

You will need the samsung glasses if I am not mistaken.
 
This is more of a TV question as opposed to a D* related question. Regardless and pair of 3D glasses will work for watching 3D.

You will need the correct set of glasses, otherwise the sync will not sync up correctly.

Have you ever been to a store that had 2 different types sitting next to one another and look at the other one, it's all messed up.

I asked a sales guy once, I liked one TV better and the glasses of the other better, they fit better.

I said, "Do you mean I have to buy a TV according to which set of glasses I like better ?"

I liked 1 TV better and the other set of glasses better.
