Dish Drop WNYE-TV?

This morning I found a message saying "Important-Press Info" on Channel 25 WNYE-TV. States that Dish no longer carried this channel. Does anyone know why this channel has been dropped? It was a good channel with shows like "Secrets of New York"

There is no mention of this on the WNYE website.

FWIW, you can still see *some* WNYE programming on the Documentary Channel, 197.
Probably no more than maybe an hour or two per day, but hey, better than nothing.

I think WNYE dropped dish..it was a must carry public broadcasting station (they cant charge money for their signal)

you still have WNET Ch13, and WLIW Ch21 as PBS stations and if you're in NJ, you probabaly get WFME in West Milford(Ch66) as an NJETV station.

ch66 is a religous channel

k the website i looked at stated 66 was an educational channel., Anyway, ya still have two PBS stations
