Just to set the record straight, I did NOT ask the exact same question Yraghw (the OP) asked. Yraghw asked "Can you do it during a contract term and if so what's the fee? I asked just the opposite: "Can one "Pause" Dish service if one is out of contract? So thanks to the official response from the DISH DIRT TEAM the answer is yes. My other concern was would DISH require a new 2 year contract upon resuming paused service? I've received bad information from DISH CSR's in the past, so that's why I hoping for a response from a fellow member here who had actually paused & resumed service while out of contract.Huh? You are the one who brought up leased equipment for reasons unknown. If you have to return leased equipment during Dish Pause, that is news to me.
