Anybody know if there are other/more Double Layer RW discs out there? All I could find was JVC VDW-DL85GU2 and every site I went they were sold out!

Thanks!

Greetings, Recently bought some, Memorex brand, at local Staples store. They were about $33 for a 15 pack. Good luck

Hi,

are you sure they were RW? I went to staples web page and I can only find the regular "write once" DL from memorex.

Thanks!

Read research of burners vs disc codes for best results.

A DVD+RW DL is a rewritable optical disc with storage capacity of 8.5 GB. DVD+RW DL discs employ two rewritable dye layers. On March 2006, DVD+RW Alliance approved "DVD+RW part 2: Dual Layer, volume 1; DVD+RW 8.5 Gbytes, Basic Format Specifications, version 1.0, March 2006" that is already released for distribution.

I could not find any product info on the DVD+RW DL or -RW DL from Verbatim, TDK or JVC

Well from the reading; the standard was just passed early this year and I am wondering if the discs that were seen before were maybe samples.
