Just ordered a DTVPALPLUS for a small analog TV in the kitchen. As usual, it was a hassle dealing with Dish Network (DN). I attempted to order the converter on-line and went through the drill of putting in credit card #, Govt coupon #, address, etc. only to be denied the order in the last step because I subscribed to DN. The web page advised to call a 1-800 # which I did and after waiting 15 mins got a DN CSR. You know who - - Rajah from Calcutta with a phony Christian name.
He took my order without asking any questions about why I need an OTA device. So why do the pico brains at DN not allow the on-line order? Further when he asked for my CC#, I told him to use the one on my DN account. He advised he did not have access to that yet when I gave him the CC#, he already knew the expiration date!!
Just thought I would pass on my abysmal experience with DN. They sure try hard to irritate their customers and are amazingly quite adept at doing so.
