DVR with RV dish

I thought such as back in your post #13 you wanted two HR24s in the RV?

Well this is why no one really suggested connecting directly to the two lines from the dish.

Unless you're thinking we should have assumed you'd be alright with only one tuner enabled on each HR24 ...

fair enough and I do need two HR24s to feed two TVs but I can live with one tuner per DVR but would prefer to have all four tuners working if possible.

Not really. I have no way of running two coax cables to the same room in the RV. I hope the SWM8 switch works.
Thats the trouble with most RV set ups, when you use the existing wiring, they normally would not set it up for more than one coax feed.

I have rewired every MH that we have had to accommodate the equipment we've used ...
I have used anywhere from the single 18" dish to the SWM set ups to the King Quest that sets itself up.
I have not had the opportunity to use a D* dish that is already mounted on the RV .... we thought about that on the last RV and then bought a different one so I didn't get to play with it.

Heres a thought ...
Any of you know if he can get a Genie in the RV ...
Can you tell a Genie to only see the 101 Sat ?
IF so, he could use a wireless client for the other recvr/TV location.
