EA vs. WA Compression

I'm currently on WA and it seems that the compression (and thus pixelation) on channels is getting higher and higher as more and more HD is added.

Has anybody been able to do a comparison of picture quality between WA and EA? ..or is there a way to tell by the info on 'the list'? I'm considering making the migration to EA if the picture quality is better on the 'newer' sats. (I'm in ATL market.)

I install both every day and have never seen a difference.

I have both dishes for eastern arc and western arc out back of my house. My living room is on eastern arc and my bedroom is on western arc. I can see better pq on sd channels over eastern arc vs western arc. I believe it is due to the sd being compressed in mpeg 4 . The hd channels are the same because they are all mpeg 4. Others will say different but as usual picture quality is subjective.
