Thanks LMckin,
I was going to post this yesterday and got busy and forgot. :)
It will need to be re-posted closer to the dates I'm sure.

I've been checking out the HBO free preview. The PQ is really good on the HD channels, with almost no pixelation. I have to stand right in front of the screen to see any. The John Adams miniseries is really amazing, also. It's the best thing they've done since From the Earth to the Moon, which was done by many of the same people.

Our last free preview of March is the sports pack, from March 28-30.

Two nice things people may want to watch during this preview:

Spring Training baseball - several games available in the 600s - on the RSNs.

College Hockey Playoffs - several games Friday - Sunday on channel 609 ESPNU.

If you suscribe to MLB do you get to see out of area broadcasts of local teams? The reason I ask is FSNW-HD does not show broadcasts for Mariners games in the guide yet. I hope they remedy that, but if they don't I don't want to be stuck watching SD.

That said, being a former Dish sub, I am constantly amazed by the shear volume of sports available through the Sports Pack. DTV really shines when it comes to sports!

Only if FSNNW is not televising.

Not true. All local teams are blacked out on out of market RSN's. You can only watch your local team play on your local network or on a national broadcast (i.e. ESPN Sunday Night baseball).

If FSNNW are not broadcasting and the Mariners lift the blackout, they will be shown on EI.

Last year I had no problem watching Cardinal games on EI when FSNMW/KSDK was not televising and there was no national.
