Hello everyone!
I was wondering if it's possible to receive Galaxy 10R and 119/118.7 of same dish if you have special bracket. I currently have superdish which gets me 110/119/118.7,
thanks.

you can try. The only thing off the top of my head that may be an issue is the 118.7/119 LNB is pretty big so slapping a KU LNB next to it might be more than 4 degrees away

You would need a linear LNBF with a separate coax and receiver, I doubt that it will work but worth a try.

thanks for the quick replies guys..
I'm using the lnb which gets you 119/118.7 at the same time I got rid of that huge lnb that Dish provides you. for galaxy 10R i have a viewsat ultra and another universal lnb but i guess i would need some sort of a bracket. if anyone know of a good bracket please let me know thanks..

Let us know if that works and how well. I'm curious about those new 119/118.7 LNBs. If it works well, it may be a poor man's alternative to an Invacom Quad.

from what i understand they would not replace an invacom quad. they are not linear/circular. 118 is a low frequency circular bird. so basically its circular but the lnb freq is 10750 as opposed to 11250 ya know what i mean.

Funny you should ask....

I just did this today. Took me a while but I figured it out.

Used my existing DirecPC and added back the Dish LNB (I had it on the opposite side before for pointing purposes). Both are working but I did not have a piece of RG-6 long enough (have to go to Lowes and get one).

The Hughes will be going to my Fortec Merc II and the Dish LNB is going to an old JVC 3700 from Dish. One more cable and I should have it done.
