H356

The only change from 355 to 356 was made to fix boxes stuck on acquiring signal. The boxes were in a corrupted state and were unable to complete check switch due to the orbital 129 removal.

Should have a stability build rolling within the next couple of weeks.

Understand if you can't get into the specifics, but was the MPEG2 changeover and getting rid of 129 the reason for the deluge of software updates? Not that I mind, it just feels like a very different update cadence lately.

Not wholly, we're in the process of converting the video player on the box to something new that will support more IP functionality/features. They're rolling it out slowly to connected customers so we can monitor what they're seeing and rollback/fix things quicker.

The 355->356 was due to the removal of 129, but that's a very unique scenario that would have been almost impossible to see coming until it actually happened.
