They both had their creepy charm, but if someone held a pistol to my head then I would have to go with The Munsters.

The Munsters were more true to the genre. The Addams Family seemed derivative and contrived.

I watched both shows ,but the Munsters were on more in both towns I grew up in. I didn't see the Adams family till I was much older. Besides the Munsters had movies in color too. So I picked the Munsters as being better.

Notice that they have the Munsters on at nights on Boomerang.

Watched the show last night and forgot how cool Granpa Munster was... even a better reason for me to vote for the Munsters over the addams family.
