HBO HD Last night - Soft picture?

We were watching the Soprano's last night and the picture seemed awefully soft compared to previous weeks.

All in my head or did someone else notice it too?

Premiums have been "soft" for a while now-known problem(at least I think it is) and supposed to be "being worked on" per Wilt and the crew.(Encoder issues apparently)

It didn't look no worse that has been the past couple weeks? BUT CinemaxHD east on the other had some very noticeable artifacts in fast moveing scenes druing Spiderman last night. Otherwise Pq was pretty good. I just don't recall any of the east HD Premiums being that ugly when the action gets going?
