Well, we got our first bill. Here's what it looks like:

DVR: 5.98
PlatinumHD: 10
DHPP: 5.99
2 Premium: 22.00
TurboHD with Locals: 29.99

We signed up for the 2 year deal, so get the DHPP removed for 9 months.
And the premiums are taken off for the first three months.

So, my questions:

- where does the 'hook DVR to phone/internet' fee/discount come into play? If I disconnect, will I then see a charge? Or should I already see a discount since the DVR is hooked up to the phone line already?

- I've been told that canceling the locals will actually add more to my bill due to me instead having to pay a different fee. True? Or can I just cancel the locals and save $5?

You have HD Bronze right? Well the platinum comes off for the first 3 months because thats FREE.

You should not have a DVR Fee, it should be setup as DVR advantage for $34.99/mo including locals.

If you took locals off you would save the $5, but then would pay for the DVR so its really a $4 savings.

If you disconnect the phone line then you will see a $4.99/mo access fee charge added to your bill.
