Hopper/Joey Remote Compatability

Are the Dish 32. 0 and 40.0 backwards compatible with say a 722 receiver? I have not been able to find this info. Thanks!

No, the 32.0 and 40.0 remotes will not work with the anything other than Hopper/Joey/922. These remotes use UHF 2G technology, which other receivers do not have.

32.0/40.0 remotes will not communicate with the sat receivers via IR. 722K and older use UHF Pro. 32.0/40.0 use UHF 2G. Neither are compatible with each other.

The older IR remotes will however work with Hopper/Joey.

can an expert on this site help me out on a 32.0 remote please, I can't find any real info on the compatibility of this remote.
Does 32.0 control any receiver other than the 922? does the 32.0 control any receiver of Bell Express Vu? may be the new 9500? is there an equivalent Bell receiver that is the same as the Dish 922 receiver?

The 32 only runs a 922 as far a Dish equipment goes. Outside of that, I couldn't tell you
