Hopper problem

I woke up today to hopper not working. It makes strange high pitch sound. And it it stuck on signal screen, but will not go passed that. Tried reset. Tried unplugging. Still same result. I guess I try calling dish to get replacement. Receiver one week old

Well, if an electronic component is going to fail due to a hardware fault, it usually happens relatively soon after installation. Sounds like that ones toast. Be glad it outright failed and will be replaced rather than some problem that only happens intermittently and drives you crazy over time....
