Doubt it. And BGR is kind of shady when it comes to reporting on technology related news and updates. I have read its articles and most are what in my opinion "junk". If you want to read something worthwhile, then go find any article and updates from organizations like IEEE and ETA-i.

And Comcast will laugh all the way to the bank. They win, netflix is no longer competing with them for their cable internet subs. What you're proposing is a good way for netflix to shoot itself in the foot. Especially when there are similar competing services in the form of amazon prime and the verizon redbox service. I bet people will adapt away from netflix rather than away from comcast (since most locations have nothing remotely as fast as comcast as an alternative).
