I saw in an article that Dish Network was offering credits to those of us who lost power due to Hurricane Sandy. I lost my power from Monday 10/29 until Tuesday 11/6. I just got off of chat with Customer Service and I was credited for the time that I had no electricity. Once again I am impressed with the Customer Service of Dish Network (especially considering what I experienced before switching).

That's awesome! Hope you and your family are safe and recovering well. Where I am, we only lost power for 11hrs, hardly worth the phone call...
That is pretty cool of them to do that. They could have claimed loosing power is something that is not there problem.
Thanks for the concern. We had a generator for heat, water, and hot water, so we were okay. There are still a lot of people without power some schools are closed, lines and trees are down, gas lines are crazy and we have a new storm coming today. But, we are much better off then the people on the coast.
