I did the chat to cancel dance a couple weeks ago. They came back immediately with keeping the same thing I had for another year. Came out to $101 with the fees. Accepted that. Wish I had done that the first few years I had Sirius XM. Paid whatever the regular rate was for 3-4 yrs. Haven't paid that the last 6-7yrs though.

A person here in my office got a renewal offer in the mail the other day for 3 years for $99 for the platinum package.

If any of you get that jump on it.

With that said I am enjoying my lifetime subscription which I paid $300 for. Although I would like a second online account.

Just did the chat today, refused the first offer of Music & Entertainment for $6.99 a month, they came back with a $50 offer for the year, told them I have 2 vehicles, received it for that one also, so $100 for the year for both total.

As easy as they offer such deep discounts off the regular price I thought years ago it was a sign they were in trouble. But they seem to be going strong as far as I know. I called them to renewal at mu current rate the Entertainment car/internet for $7.25 with tax and fees. Any more than that I will have to drop them. It was zero problem with a two-minute call each year.

We made good use of the SiriusXM on our recent trip to DC. Four hours of driving each way to pick up my Mother-in-Law; she enjoyed the Coffeehouse Jazz and we enjoyed the Classic Rewind before and after she was onboard.

I hate the cost, but when doing the back and forth drive between Michigan and Florida in 2020 getting everything ready for the move, I was thankful for it, kept me entertained and knowing what was going on with the news.

My daughter went with me twice, just bought a Explorer (no longer have) and it had internet, she had her ipad and barely made any noise, I asked her a few times if she wanted to drive (she is 28 this year) and all I would get “No, I’m fine”.

A few months ago I wanted to add a second car radio to our account. I called and spoke to a rep. The price of adding a second radio was more than the renewal deal I got for the first one. The rep said that it didn't seem right, looked into it and said that was what came up on his system and he couldn't change it.

Needless to say I didn't add that radio.

When I added the Explorer (2nd car at the time) after the free trial they gave me the yearly deal, i believe it was $99 or less, cannot remember, after I turned down the first option they gave me.

No way in **** I would pay the normal monthly price…ever.

I renewed at $6/month probably because I dropped my sub back in November. But the deal is that it'll go up to $14 after one year.

Pretty much need SiriusXM in rural western Oklahoma. Weak to nonexistent cellular data and few radio stations anymore. My sister called me last week asking how much mine was and how to activate it on her suv. She has to travel to a couple of hospitals in rural western Oklahoma every couple of week and 1 bar to no bars of Verizon service and not much radio or radio that she liked either.

I did my annual dance with them tonight and renewed all three of our radios for $9.99 each, or $39 total per month after taxes, fees, etc. That's about $3 higher than last year but I'll take it. Like many have mentioned we're in a rural area where cell service is often not the best, and the radio stations all come from larger cities around us so they can be difficult to maintain without static. Clearly despite the recent news reports that they were going to start cutting back on deals they still value keeping long term customers.

The day they stop the deals is the day I walk away from SXM. Over the years XM has retired several channels that I listened to frequently. I'm down to just a few channels now. The service is worth $6 to $7 plus fees per month for me. No more than that.
