a while ago I rescanned my system to see what might be new out there.I have a Pansat 250 sm with a motor .
Well I lost the audio on create and others. I thought that I did something wrong so I just left it alone for a while. well to night I thought I would rescan AMC3 and try to get it back, Still no audio so when all else fails go to Satellite Guys for answers, I found that PBS is now on AMC 21 at 125 west.
So now here is my problem--- I don't know how to enter a new satellite into my Pansat or how to get it to go to 125 west. I have always just used the Sats, that came configured with my system.
Does any one feel like walking me through how to set up amc 21 on my system???

since I dont have a 250 I dont know what the menus look like
but I have an old 1500 and to add a satellite its
install antenna (1st option) ok...password
dish setup (1st option again)...ok
where the satellites are listed, scroll to the bottom. It will say "NEW" and will allow you to add one.
rename it AMC21 and save it

to add a transponder in the 2nd screen (dish setup) there is an option for "edit satellite/tp"
select that and select AMC21. There is an option for "new" for transponder adding.

Otherwise just rename a C-Band one if you don't use C-band :)

OK lets scrap that partially....found the manual and the menus are just like the 1500

add a sat
-install (password)
-antenna setup
-scroll to bottom to where it says "new" and add AMC21

or from the manual

2.5.1 How to add a new satellite
• Select “New” in the satellite name by using CH ?? keys. Press VOL ?? keys to input the name of satellite in
keyboard menu. Then press OK to save.
• If you want to add TP, please refer to 2.5.3 item.

adding a transponder
-installation
-sat & TP edit
-select AMC21
-select new
add TP Info

2.5.4 How to add a new transponder
• Press ?? keys to move into TP list.
• Press ?? keys to go NEW item.
• Press OK key selecting “NEW” in the transponder list
• Enter the Down frequency, Symbol Rate and LNB Polarity.
• Press EXIT or OK. Then new transponder information is stored

to change USALS for that sat when you go into the antenna setup, select USALS and hit "OK"
at the top the satellite will show "0.0"...just type in "125.0"
