Internet Explorer 8

Remove all vestiges of IE8 completely before installing the release version. It may be too late for your notebook.

Yep, RC1 just refuses to de-install due to the fact that it cannot find certain files to copy, I have tried the search process for these files, but I was just down to about two files and some wav files. I’ll just keep RC1 on for the time being. It just takes too much time going back and forth between systems to copy these files. I have a feeling that SP3 has something to do with it.

It is just amazing how IE’s tentacles are so deeply embedded throughout the windows operating system that a simple removal turns into a major project that even the final code of IE8 cannot resolved the issue when you are installing it.

Kudos to Chrome and Firefox upgrading smoothness; another reason why they are my prime browsers.
