Is Mr Dolan Sr. trying to pull a fast one?

The subscriber count also nearly doubled in one quarter, right? If it takes 7 quarters to get to 26,000 and then just one more to get to 46,000 subs... Could we be seeing the transition from the lag period to the accelerated growth period? I know this is a stretch, but if the sub base continues to double every quarter, it would not take very long at all to be profitable (in business years).
Doubling every quarter would be nice, but difficult. Not sure where you got seven quarters from.
4Q03 - No paying subs, but Voom sold equipment for the eventual full start
1Q04 - Ended with 5000 subs
2Q04 - Ended with 25000 subs - a decent quarter
3Q04 - Ended with 26000 subs - stagnent with a decline in September
4Q04 - No number filed with the SEC
1Q05 - Ends March 31st - if the "inside report" is correct and they can get all the installs done they will have 46000 + any March subscribers

They did 20k in one quarter last year ... 20k in two quarters isn't much of a comeback, but it is better than September when the count went down.

Actually it was reported 46,000 + 5,000 waiting for installs which would be 51,000.

The numbers were 46,xxx including 5,1xx waiting to be installed. The 5,100 or so are included in the 46,000 total figure.

Nope, wrong. The alleged 46,262 INCLUDED the alleged 5,622 waiting.

46,262 (including 5,622 awaiting installation) VOOM Subscribers CONFIRMED
It is bad enough to quote unconfirmed numbers (from anonymous sources), but please don't inflate them!

It's "alleged" only because it doesn't fit your way of thinking. Of course we could all sit in the naysayers camp and quote figures from Sept(26k) which assumes 100% churn for 6 full months in spite of numerous reports which suggest the new subs have been picking up at a signficant clip(reports from installers, etc).

Sometimes just a little common sense goes a long ways.

Speaking of anonymous sources, can anyone other than JL confirm that the SEC is investigating it's own decision that it allegedly made in December to kill the Rainbow DBS spinoff? I'm struggling to locate a decision or filing which states such. I've read conflicting reports that this is an informal inquiry which would mean no filings.
