i have directv service and i was wondering a couple things. i took a receiver and dish to deer camp. out of my local area for sure. first of all how i set up a single lbn dish. i have heard that some areas around my camp you must have 2 dishes to receive locals. how do i know if my area needs one or two dishes to get locals?
also i have a 3 lbn dish not set up would this be better to set up and if i do need 2 dishes would this be able to work would i need 2 dishes with this dish?

i know i have to get directv to change my local area for any of this to work

any other ideas are appreciated
just want to be able to watch locals for college football
thanks

i might have just answered my own ? the directv website says locals not available in that area. so am i out of luck

if so would an off the air ant pick anything up possibly?

AntennaWeb shows 31081 to be about 30 miles from all major broadcasters with a compass heading of 260degrees, so yes a local TV antenna should work. And a digital converter box should give satellite quality pictures.
