First I would like to thank you all for all the info I have learned from you guys! I have a quick question I purchased the leaf indoor antenna for my porch,however I didn't realize it would pick up so many channels I don't get with direct tv,is there a way to run the leaf antenna and the direct tv to the same tv. I am stupid with these things so thanks in advance for any help!

What DVR do you have? Easiest way would be to integrate a Directv AM21 OTA tuner with the DVR so the channels are in your guide and you can record them.
Other option would be component/HDMI from the Directv box to the TV, and coaxial from the Antenna to the TV.
