looking for instructions to Rec on Openbox HD S9

Hello Everybody
I am Looking any thread, tutorial or Instructions (step by step) How I can to Rec on the Openbox HD S9 Receiver and How I can use the Media Player via Usb and external Memory..
What is the Best File for this Purpose? or any file, included the factory file could work?..

It seems there's a few different FW versions considered "best'.
What works best for some isn't the 'best' for others.
Mine is running C2HS2-12-06-18:05E3CMT http://www.satelliteguys.us/downloads.php?do=file&id=296
For me, this one has been the best performer. Haven't tried any others since I loaded it.
http://www.wydvb.com/download.asp has other versions, as does the douwnloads section here @ sateliteguys
edit: Some have good reports on 11-08-24 version

To record it's just hit the record button, hit again to set duration. Or set the timer (IT WORKS in this version - although the clock must be reset every few days. Set the clock GMT usage to off, set local time)
Then set the Timer Service to Record.

Media Player via Usb and external Memory..

Enter the media player and navigate the USB memory, no sweat. (IIRR, won't play AVI.) MPG, MP4 TS all good.

Unfortunately manufactuer documentation is very lacking. You can connect a USB stick or HDD to the S9. Depending on the firmware version you either get the record manager or not. The media player option is a good place to start. Go ahead and play with it, I don't think you will screw anything up.
