I'm going to be moving next week and I was wondering if I should take my SWM. I'm assuming I'll get one on the new install.. but should I take anyway?

its best to be pro active take the swm with you just incase ,,, if its the lnb then get that the splitter and power inserter . just the swm 8 switch then take all the same just leave the lnb

Yes,
Anything you need after the first installation is payable by you...unless you have the protection plan.
Leave the wire unless you have a need for it. If you can get the mast & dish off without danger take that. TV in a garage is nice for garage working folks.

The mover's connection will provide what you need at the new address and a FREE installation will provide new equipment to the new owner.

Thanks for all of the responses.. looks like I will be taking EVERYTHING!!

At present, DirecTV authorizes SWM for new installs only. So yes, take it with you.
