There are lots of trees in Pacific Grove. Does anyone know if there has been Dish installation/alignment problems in the area?

Not knowing where in Pacific Grove you will be located I suggest that you use the program Dishpointer to give you guidance. This will assist you about the possibilities of installling a dish. In general if there are trees in an area then there are problems installing a dish at some locations. I hope this helps you.

It is hard to tell from the DishPointer.com. The 119 satellite line shows 164 feet distance and 178 feet high. The 110 satellite line shows 164 feet distance and 168 feet high. The Galaxy 91W shows 164 feet distance and 121 feet high.
If you have a smart phone, the dishpointer app is invaluable for locating the satellites. For me, it's well worth the $20. A site survey, assuming you can get anyone to do it for you, would be more than that.
