NBA TV has become FIBA Europe’s latest broadcast partner for EuroBasket 2005.

It was announced today that NBA TV will broadcast the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final of the competition, all live.

The contract with NBA TV brings the total number of territories where EuroBasket will be televised to over 120 countries across the world.

For those countries where EuroBasket is not being televised, games can be followed live online at www.

Ratings for EuroBasket have been good and with the latter stages of the competition starting on Thursday, and six World Championship places up for grabs, audience figures are expected to increase from the quarter-final stage onwards.

Last I heard they have exclusive rights to the HD feed and Paul mentioned that it will start in November this year. The contract was made last year so I say it will be a go. They have their own truck which will not impact the soccer games.

I think you're talking about Euroleague basketball (the same WorldSport showed last year). But this one is EuroBasket (a short tourment). Anyway the schedule is:

Friday:
12 p.m. - Slovenia vs. Germany
3 p.m. - Spain vs. Croatia

Saturday:
12 p.m. - Semifinal 1
3 p.m. - Semifnal 2

Sunday:
3 p.m. - Eurobasket 2005
Championship

What a game by the Buccaneers!

Can peeps east of the Mississippi check this?
