EPIX2 a West Coast Feed?
I updated my guide data and it looks like EPIX2 is running the same movies as EPIX1 at a later time. Is EPIX2 a west coast feed of EPIX1?
No it is not. The guide is wrong. The programming is different.
Is it just me or does the EPIX2 screen go black for a second, every 20 seconds or so?
Yes I see it to. About every 20 or 30 seconds the screen flashes.
Say it ain't so!
Seems like the same programing just 30 mins difference in start times.
EPIX1 + 3 Hours = EPIX2
I have not updated my guide, but it consistently shows that EPIX2 has the same programing has EPIX1, but is 3 hours delayed. This is the definition of a west coast feed. I have not confirmed that the guide information is true and hope that it is not!
OK then, so what do they actually do while a channel is "testing" if it's released with wrong guide and blinky picture? Seems even mediocre "testing" would have caught these.
Guide Data for EPIX1 is correct. It is definitely wrong for EPIX 2.
Is channel a West Coast feed? No.
Is guide data wrong and saying it is? Yes.
Stop the insanity.
