Did you read the article? It says
"Expect some funky interactivity from selected HD DVDs, as well as “BD-Live.” You can also use options such as “Blu-View” or “Picture-in-Picture” available from many Blu-ray discs."

Sure sounds like it's BD-Live, or profile 2 compliant. Which means it's also 1.1 compliant.

Or were you being sarcastic? :what

I guess I'm gonna havta look it over, but $800 is probably too much for me. Not when I can get a good BD player in the form of a PS3 for $500 and have 8 movies kicked in.

And I'll want to read an extensive review on it's 1.1 or even 2.0 capabilities before even considering it.

It looks like it may be pretty close to an ideal player (except the price). It will do all the BD Java specs and full HDi specs. Will it do 24p? It must have ethernet also since they have HDi/HD DVD logo. Get this down to $299 and it will be "what format war"?
