Of course the SWM8/SWM16 can handle reverse band. It leaves the LNB at the exact same frequency range as Ka A & B bands, and the internal multiswitch is connected to all six inputs.

As it sure would help matters with the seemlessness of installing this LNB if the current installed base of legacy analog SWiM multiswitches could be used by just re-tasking the two flexports.
Though running now six or two more coax lines in addition to an already existing four (or three coax pairs in all) would be a cumbersome and unsightly mess, I see this LNB mainly for MDU single dish solutions.
Now DIRECTV just needs something like this on steroids for the AK-HI dish and they'll be all set I guess. ...
